Cache Productions was founded by Todd Witham in 2002 with the 35-minute short film, 'Harbour Road'. Since then, the company has gone on to produce a wide variety of comedy, drama, commercial, documentary, reality TV, internet, film and theatrical productions.
Todd Witham - Creator/Writer/Producer: Originally from Canada, Todd began as an actor in England, starring in the feature length film 'With or Without You' and working with the Polsden Lacey Theatre company before graduating from the London International School of Acting in 1992. Over the last three decades, Todd has worked as a writer, director, producer, actor and editor on a wide range of theater, film and television projects in Canada and the US. Recent credits include three series pilot reels (‘American Adbusters', 'Funny Bones' and ‘Lost Brews’) which he made for Still Cottage Productions in Los Angeles and New Orleans in 2018. The short film 'Protecting Our Country's Fate', which he made for ten-year-old cancer survivor Jacob Angel and the Make-A-Wish foundation won the 'Spirit Award' at the Marina Del Ray short film festival in 2014. Other credits include: The Penumbra, a six episode comedy series he co-created, wrote, directed and edited in 2011. ‘The Money Shot’, 2009, a short film he wrote and starred in has toured festivals in Canada and the US, and his feature-length documentary ‘Saturday Night at Morley Gibson’s’ (a real life 'Spinal Tap') received critical acclaim at its premiere at the Calgary International Film Festival in 2007. The independent, feature-length drama, 'Some Letters To A Young Poet" Todd starred in was catalogued into the Library and Archives Canada (LAC) in 2010. Todd spent over a decade working in both world class and underground theater, including two seasons as the Artistic Director of Several Species Productions on the west coast of Canada and three seasons as part of the celebrated acting ensemble with world renowned Shaw Festival as an actor on their public stages and as a writer and director with their academy (1997 – 2002). Todd has had shopping agreements and development deals with Frantic Films, Machlachlan Wood, The Camera Division, Still Cottage Productions, Pond Media, HGTV and PBS among others and has written several spec scripts and original series proposals for television including, ‘S.I.U. - Special Investigations Unit', 'The Real Casanova’, ‘Akin to Limbo’ and 'Ghost Light'. Todd is also the co-creator of the infotainment series ‘Scott the Woodturning Guy’ which he made in partnership with PBS (DPTV) in 2004.
